About Hotel Des Grandes Ecoles
# Hotel Des Grandes Écoles Nestled in the heart of Paris's Latin Quarter on rue Cardinal Lemoine, this charming 3-star hotel captures the essence of a countryside retreat with its cottage-style aesthetic—think Toile de Jouy wallpapers, weathered wood furniture, and ivy-covered gardens that transport you away from the bustling city. The intimate property features 51 rooms (10-25 m²) arranged around a peaceful, tree-lined garden that serves as a serene sanctuary just steps from the Panthéon and Théâtre de la Contrescarpe. Key amenities include a complimentary breakfast buffet available until noon, international adapters, accessibility for guests with reduced mobility, and air conditioning in the main building, plus the hotel partners with Hollandbikes to encourage sustainable travel. Ideal for travelers seeking a quiet, intimate Parisian experience with genuine French hospitality, this "family pension" appeals to those who value tranquility and authentic character over modern amenities.
